If you measure Kristin’s life by the mere moments she spent here on earth, it was much too short. However, if your measurement is the impact she had on family and friends, it was more than most could hope for in their lifetime. Kristin’s passions and unconditional love for anyone she met was captivating. She loved life to the fullest, cherishing each and every day as a gift.
It is Kristin’s spirit of gratitude that the Love Life organization wants to capture, promote and share with the world. Partnering with St.Vincent’s Special Needs Services for the 4th Annual Kristin Nicole Appelberg Golf Tournament gives us that chance to show our gratitude to an organization that has been inspiring children and adults with disabilities to be all they can be — to live life to its fullest. Please join with us as we share in Kristin’s legacy.

Kristin’s Love Life Foundation
Kristin’s Love Life Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, hope and funds for children and those in need. It’s founding was inspired by Kristin Appelberg, a young girl who truly loved life despite her challenges. Our Mission is to carry Kristin’s message of love forward through concrete programs and services that create real change.
Kristin’s Love Life donates to and works closely with local Fairfield County charities and organizations including The Hall Neighborhood House, Cardinal Shehan Center, and The Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services
SVSNS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves approximately 400 children and adults with highly complex developmental and medical disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, acute brain injury, and neuromuscular disorders.
St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services strives to provide the very best possible educational, medical, and therapeutic services to children and adults with complex disabilities and special medical needs, such as cerebral palsy, neuromuscular conditions, and acute brain injury. At least 75% of those we serve are non-ambulatory and/or nonverbal. We offer birth-to-three evaluation and intervention, a special education school for children ages three through twenty-one, life skills training, adult day programs, residential group homes, and family support services. Serving our Special Needs participants is a calling for our staff, one which is performed from the heart. Underlying their very skilled work is a palpable sense of love, joy, and excitement for every individual we serve. For more information contact Deborah Cox at 203.386.2714 or visit our website.
