It’s time to Play Ball! If you love both baseball and golf, then the Cooperstown Golf Classic presented by the Bridgeport Bluefish is for you!
Each foursome represents a different MLB team and not only competes for the overall championship but for division and wild card awards too – just like the pros!
All winners will be awarded their prizes between innings at that night’s Bluefish game plus the overall champions throw out the first pitch!
The format is called “1-2-3 yer out” where you play your own ball but compete as a team taking the ONE best net score on every par 5, the TWO best net scores on every par 4 and THREE net best scores on every par 3 as your team score.
There’s no longest drive or closest to the pin contests but we do have our “Hole in Run” and “Small Ball” contests instead.
Maybe you’ll win the baseball decorated FIAT from FIAT of Fairfield County.
It’s just $115 per golfer and it benefits clean water projects for Kenya.
